HD Pro Duplicator - Advanced Setup - Set Max Daisy Chain Count
The more duplicators you have connected through daisy chain, the longer it will take to initialize during bootup. The Set Max Daisy Chain Count option allows you to configure the maximum number of duplicators the system checks for during bootup. Each duplicator has a different value:
- 15 Target Duplicator value = 4
- 23 Target Duplicator value = 6
NOTE: This is only available on the 15-Target and 23-Target Hard Drive SATA Pro Duplicators.
Tap the ENT button to change this option.
So, for example, if you are connecting two 15 Target Duplicators then you would set this value to 8. If you were connecting 2x 23 Target Duplicators then you would set this value to 12. If you were connecting a 15 Target Duplicator to a 23 Target Duplicator then this value should be set to 10.
The Set Max Daisy Chain Count can be set from 1 to 32.
