11-Target NVMe Duplicator - Troubleshooting

The duplicator will not boot or freezes curing boot.

The device has media (drives) connected to it while powering on.

Power the device off and disconnect all media (disks) connected to the duplicator.  Once this is completed, power the duplicator on.

The device freeze occurs regardless of if media (disks) are connected or not.

Press the reset button located at back of the duplicator. This process may need to be repeated up to 3 times. If this does not resolve the issue, contact support.

Media is not seen by the duplicator.

The media (disks) is Gen4 or newer and is not being seen by the duplicator.

Verify that your duplicator was purchased after June 2023.  June 2023 is when we added compatibility for Gen4 or newer drives.  If your device was purchase before June 2023, contact support for an upgrade.

The media (disks) is M.2 SATA and is not being seen by the duplicator.

Verify that your duplicator was purchased after October 2024.  October is when we added compatibility for M.2 SATA drives.  If your device was purchase before October 2024, contact support for an upgrade.

Duplicator display remains black.

The duplicator display remains blank even though the device system sounds and some cases the touch functions appear to work.

Commonly this means the internal board battery has failed.  Technical support needs to be connected regarding this as the device will likely need to be sent for a repair.
