HD Pro Duplicator - Main Setup - Set SMART Check

The Set SMART Check option allows you to configure whether the system runs a SMART check before starting a copy process. You can configure what level of SMART check is performed through the SMART Warning option.  Tap the ENT button to change this option.

Disabled

Set SMART Check is disabled. The duplicator will not check the Source’s SMART monitoring information before a copy process. Note: This is the Default setting.

Enabled

Set SMART Check is enabled. The duplicator will check the Source’s SMART monitoring information before a copy process.

To alter the Set SMART Check setting:

  1. Power on the duplicator.
  2. From the Main Copy Menu press the ESC button to enter the Menu Select mode.
  3. Press the Up or Down buttons until you see Main Setup.
  4. When Main Setup is displaying for you, press the ENT button to enter this menu.
  5. Press the Up or Down buttons until you see Set SMART Check.
  6. When Set SMART Check is displaying for you, press the ENT button to alter the setting.
  7. Once you have altered the setting, you can press the ESC button to return to the Menu Select mode.
